For lawyers, financial planners and funeral directors. Spare Key holds what the will and the financial plan don't: where things are, the wishes and the letters. A referral fee is there if you want it.

Who it's for

  • Estate lawyers. The will gets done with you. Everything around it doesn't: where the signed original is kept, the super and bank map, the funeral wishes, the letters to the kids. Spare Key holds that and points back to the will.
  • Financial planners. You look after the money. Spare Key is where clients write down the rest, so whoever picks it up knows which fund, which insurer and who to call.
  • Funeral directors. Families arrive unsure what Mum or Dad wanted. Spare Key is where people put that down beforehand: burial or cremation, the music, who speaks.

How it works

  • Apply below. We approve within two business days and email you your link.
  • Share it: in your email signature, in client letters, or on the printable desk card with a QR code we make for you.
  • Anyone who buys within 90 days of using your link is credited to you, whichever page they buy from.
  • You see every visit and sale on your partner page. We pay by bank transfer each month once the 30-day refund window has passed.

What you earn

20% of every sale through your link. Prefer not to take a fee? Tick the box when you apply and your link works the same, with no payment.

Share it from Settings in your vault. You get $20 for every vault or Family pack bought through your link.

The fine print

  • No commission on your own purchases.
  • A refunded sale isn't paid. If a sale is refunded after we've paid you, it comes off your next payment.
  • We pay in Australian dollars to an Australian bank account or PayID. If you're registered for GST, add your ABN on your partner page and we'll add GST.
  • Either of us can stop at any time. We'll give 30 days' notice by email before changing rates.
  • Tell your clients you receive a referral fee. Some professions limit referral payments, so check your own rules before you take one.
